Theatre Custodians For Covid

Theatre Custodians For Covid

British photographer Joanna Vestey has created a collection of poignant and thought-provoking photographs of theatres and their custodians in the United Kingdom.

Across the continents, from coast to coast, the performing arts industry has been dealt a difficult hand.  Covid-19 has dictated that theatre venues remain closed, which means arts workers and venues alike are struggling to stay afloat.

Vestey captured behind-the-scenes moments when the theatre custodians were in empty theatres. They range from key holders, front of house managers, master carpenters to other essential caretakers and players.
